I grew up in the Boston area…

No, I don’t have an accent. Yes, I know where to find the good pizza.

My career began by accident—tutoring Western Civ. My students were all “I didn’t come here to study history”. Despite initial resistance, I pushed and prodded many to learn about the Roman Empire. I turned that into a career, and, well, here we are.

My first training job was with an insurance company. My journey since has taken me to telecoms, Federal agencies, professional services, energy, and pharma. That’s a lot of classroom deliveries and eLearning development projects. It’s been rewarding.

For fun, I have travelled far and wide. This is what happens when you give National Geographic to a four-year-old. Travel has been a great teacher: Immersive, expansive, and humbling. Think: Missed connections, food poisoning in Kathmandu, visa issues in Mumbai, a lost wallet in Lima, and rental car break-ins. But, there were also lions, an elephant ride, the quiet of Muir Woods, and new friends across the globe. It’s been great.

It’s made me better at figuring things out, adapting, and walking the fine line between patience and self-advocacy. When we meet, ask me for a travel story or two. I have a few, specially my first 747 flight.

Let’s talk about building your people. There even may be pizza.
