An education services firm needed an instructional design/project management resource to convert 180-courses to a new learning management system.

The company needed to convert non-SCORM content from 360Learning platform to Workday Learning within 90-days as a cost-savings effort.

Source content was lost when the company laid off their training team, the project faced a hard deadline to complete the conversion before their subscription expired, and most of the content had to be rebuilt in Rise.

WIthin 90 days, create new courses in Rise, update and convert existing courses , pull and convert video, load and test in Workday Learning.
The client also requested a suite of “how to” job aids so they could revise and load content beyond the project.

Project Planning
This engagement was a delight: Engaged client who was eager for the expertise we could provide.
Yet with any new project, they expected a project plan as we defined the scope. While we had a firm deadline, the client made a number of excellent choices: Such as using Articulate Rise as our conversion authoring tool.
While simple as plans go, it was a way to build trust with the client. Here is what we created.
